Welcome to the January WOW meeting. Thank you all for attending this meeting.
January is a special meeting month as we have our Annual March of Memories. We take this time to reflect on those that have passed on from this world. This is not limited to Saints and can be about someone important to you in real life. Please don't be shy and share your memories of loved ones with us. This year at the end of the meeting, we will march from here in the basement in Stormwind Cathedral through the Deeprun Tram and then to the gates of Iron Forge.
I want to take a moment to reflect on 2018 as well as look forward to 2019. We had some ups and downs this year with some members leaving STC but then we had an influx of newer members as well as some returning members to help bolster us. I myself had some ups and downs personally this year as well. I'm am truly sorry if some of my own personal issues bled into the guild life. My job as LP is to keep STC running smoothly and to serve you, the members, the best I can. The members who are here have been greatly supportive of STC in many, many ways. I can't thank those enough who have stepped up to lead more activities, chat up in guild chat, or just been a funny voice to bring smiles to our faces.
We're still using the Looking for Guild group and responding to potential applicants to get new members. I appreciate each and every member helping the potential new members to feel at home. I'm always impressed by Novice's comments to me that they are enjoying STC. We aren't a perfect fit for everyone (and we don't try to be), but we do fit a group of people who hopefully build a stronger community which makes STC a great place to be.

Raiding:
The raid team has completed the first 4 bosses of Heroic Uldir and are working on the fifth. He's giving us fits, but honestly, we've learned and grown and pushed ourselves and hopefully had fun. These bosses are hard to begin with but with a ever-changing raiding team, it does become even a bit more difficult. We're trying our best to balance the right DPS and healing and also having tanks learn mechanics. I greatly appreciate the patience and enthusiasm that the raiders bring. It makes the night much more enjoyable despite getting our heads bashed in sometimes. :-)
If you're looking to power up your Main or Alt, there are many ways right now to get gear upgrades. There's the mythic+ groups that go nearly every night. There's Assaults and Emissary Quests that are giving away high level gear. There's also been some Alt nights in Normal Uldir. Now is a great time to get back into the swing of things and just group with other Saints to get those gear upgrades.
The new Raid, Battle of Dazar'alor will open on January 22nd. That gives us a little more time to gear up. We'll start to post information on the website regarding boss fights from the PTR and the update those to live fights in the next couple of weeks. Please do your research as well as make sure your gear is gemmed and enchanted in advance of the new raid.
Raiding food and flasks. Please if you have mats to share or can make cauldrons or feasts, please put them in the raiding tab or collect in preparation for the new raid. The new feast uses saguicell which is soulbound, but we can hand out mats from the tab for people to make feasts and put in the bank. If you're still fishing and collecting, we can still make the old feasts as well. We appreciate any and all mats for current raiding food, flasks, pots, and health and mana potions.
