Welcome to the February WOW meeting. Thank you all for attending this meeting.
Usually February is a month where some of us are snowbound, but this year's unseasonable weather has bare grounds here in Massachusetts. Despite the warmer weather at times, I have seen many players on and sometimes enough people to run two Mythic+ groups. There's banter in Discord and Guild chat. It's great to see STC so lively with many members participating in either raiding, mythic+, questing, or island expeditions. With the new raiding tier came the ability to upgrade gear and many players are working hard for both raiding and to just improve their toons power.
As noted in last month's meeting, we are still using the Looking for Guild group and responding to potential applicants to get new members. I appreciate each and every member helping the potential new members to feel at home. I'm always impressed by Novice's comments to me that they are enjoying STC. We aren't a perfect fit for everyone (and we don't try to be), but we do fit a group of people who hopefully build a stronger community which makes STC a great place to be.

Raiding:
The raid team has completed the first 4 bosses Normal Dazar'Alor with our first foray on the fifth boss this weekend. The new raid is not easy with a lot of movement required. Note that the required gear level is a minimum 365 with an item level above 380 the preference. It does not take a lot to get additional gear as there are many ways right now to get gear upgrades. There's the mythic+ groups that go nearly every night. There's Assaults and Emissary Quests that are giving away high level gear. There's even been the potential to farm Heroic level trash for BOE drops. Please make sure if you plan to attend a raid that you come doing your research. The raid leaders would prefer to spend less time talking and more time at attempts as bosses and hopefully collecting more loot.
Raid nights have been busy with up to 20 raiders. If you're looking to start raiding, please reach out to an Officer.
Raiding food and flasks. Please if you have mats to share or can make cauldrons or feasts, please put them in the raiding tab or collect in preparation for the new raid. The new feast uses sanguicell which is soulbound, but we can hand out mats from the tab for people to make feasts and put in the bank. If you're still fishing and collecting, we can still make the old feasts as well. We appreciate any and all mats for current raiding food, flasks, pots, and health and mana potions.
