Wow Chapter Meeting Minutes Wednesday March 9, 2011

I. Opening Remarks-Lord Tsukiueno – Called the meeting to order and asked our SBC to report on Raiding.

II. Raiding-Lord Thalston mentioned that STC has so far downed 6 of the 13 Cataclysm raid bosses and thanks everyone for their commitment and work to improve consistency. The bosses downed are 3 in Blackwing Descent, 2 in Bastion of Twighlight, and 1 in Baradon Hold. The emphasis will continue to be in progression raiding and there has been discussion on doing alternate nights. There has also been discussion for starting a 25 man group. Some concerns were voiced to the BC’s on the need for more consistency of raiding and adding some raids to some weekend time frames. The decision on how to address the raiding schedule is still a work in progress and will largely depend on how many sign up and what classes are signed up to afford the ability to run either 2 groups on the same day or 1and 1 on alternate days as well as a 25 man for the week. Lord Thalston mentioned that we had at least 25 level 85 players at the guild meeting so based on that the ability to run a 25 man is doable.

III. Guild Bank-Lord Lagerales talked about changes being made to the guild bank tabs. That all the tabs will be arranged for specific use and that members should remember the bank is there to use things out of it and not just drop it in. If you are leveling an alt or a profession and need something out of the bank make sure you take it out. If you cannot use what you make in profession leveling and sell it to the AH or vendor sell it you can deposit the profits into the guild bank fund to help others in the future.

IV. General Comments from our Lord Preceptor-Lord Qordinn talked about thanking everyone for the participation in the raiding efforts, and for the efforts of those putting together our upcoming events. Lord Qordinn talked about raid loot and that drops will go to STC main saints, main spec toons first and work down the line. Loot to alts will be awarded based on the alt participation and any question to the policy should be referred to the SBC for clarification. That alt participation could be due to, asking a Saint to bring one of their alts to participate, by the raid leader, to fill a class need rather than pugging to outside help for the spot. Lord Qordinn mentioned that Lady Flyinn was awarded an agility trinket that dropped from one of the raid bosses that is specific to 2 classes, a feral cat druid or a combat rogue. The list was very short and it turned out that Lady Flyinn was the only one who could use the trinket that didn't have it already. Lord Qordinn mentioned that he wanted to remind everyone about the ‘Open Forum’ round table discussion being held immediately on conclusion of the march outside the gates of Stormwind. The discussion will be open to any subject an individual feels that needs to be addressed.

V. Events

a. Lady Shynei talked about the upcoming Pet Show and the requirements, prizes, and how candidates will be judged. Everyone is asked to look at the post in the website forums and please sign up if you want to participate.
