Calling all Saints; Sanctus Covenir needs your help!

One of the big changes coming next week with with Cataclysm is the guild advancement system. As we advance and level our guild, we gain guild perks which include lots of helpful rewards such as: gaining extra experience while leveling, faster mount speed, extra faction rep, and much more. Activities which earn guild XP include:

* Earning Guild achievements
* Boss kills in a raid or dungeon in which most of the party is from the same guild
* Rated Battleground or Arena wins in which most of the party is from the same guild
* Completing quests / daily quests that reward experience
* An individual player's faction reputation advancement
* An individual player's profession progression

In order to help STC advance quickly through the guild levels, we can begin preparing now, before Cataclysm, by stocking up supplies for guild achievements. The following guild achievements have materials that we stockup on ahead of time:

-Dust, Dust and more Dust: Disenchant 10,000 items.
-Gemcrafter Extrodinare: Cut 10,000 gems.
-The Pen is Mightier: Create 25,000 glyphs

If anyone has ANY BoE disenchantable items, uncut gems, or herbs (this means any level) that you were planning on selling please consider putting them in the guild bank so that someone in the guild can disenchant/cut/craft these items after the Cataclysm launch to help STC gain achievement points. In addition, if you have any BoE disenchantable items, uncut gems, or herbs that you were planning on disenchanting/cutting/crafting into glyphs, please consider waiting to do so until after the Cataclysm launch. Instead of selecting DE on BoE items that drop in dungeons, consider selecting greed and throwing them into the guild bank.

The daily cap on guild XP is 6,246,000 xp. Points granted from Achievements do not count towards the Cap. So if you are capped for the day you can still earn XP for the guild by doing achievements!
