I didn't find anything in a quick search, but I could have missed it.  I'm curious if any Saints have been keeping up with or have an interest in the planned title Shroud of the Avatar, a project evidently under way by Richard Garriott and planned for some time in 2015.  Given our past history with Ultima Online, it looks like something that would be of interest to a lot of Saints.

I played all of the Ultima's back in the day.  I'll probably pick this one up as well, and considered paying to get in early (but didn't).  I'll try it out for sure, but the graphics look pretty bad.  I like Lord British but not too sure how this will turn out.

Another old Origins guy is doing a space game.  It looks to be of a higher quality than Avatar. Star Citizen is the name of that game I think.

Star Citizen looks *awesome*.  The guy doing it did the privateer games I believe.  Being a fan of interstellar trade/battle type games (think Freelancer), I'm looking forward to it!

Graphics are a pretty subjective topic.  I'll say that I think the world graphics look excellent in the centerpiece video on the site I linked.  The player graphics aren't as good, but those are harder to do since they have to be animated and require bandwidth that purely client-side renderings would not.  I know a lot of people value their appearance in game quite a bit, so it's the character graphics that are most important to them.  For myself, the world graphics are what make the game "immersive", and I value that more.

Most of the games I have seen most recently use rather cartoonish graphics (yes, that means WoW.  Also Rift, EQ Landmark, etc.).  I don't consider those to be immersive at all.  I do consider them "good" when they employ a consistent artistic theme.  They're not realistic, but I don't ask that of them because that's not the intent.
